Regulamin Krzyża Kombatanckiego Stowarzyszenia Polskich Kombatantów Oddział Australia
§1. On the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War, in order to externally express recognition to Members of the SPK and to persons who have contributed in an outstanding manner to the realisation of the Association’s objectives, at the request of the National Board of the SPK, the General Meeting of Delegates of the SPK Circles in Australia established on 2–4 January 1981 an organisational decoration under the name of the “Combatant’s Cross”, which was subsequently approved by decision of the General Meeting of Delegates of the SPK Circles held on 2–4 January 1983.
§2. The Combatant’s Cross, of the size of a standard military-type decoration, features in its centre a stylised map of Australia with the initials SPK. On the reverse side of the Cross is the inscription: “To the Faithful of the Cause” and the date “1983”. The Cross is worn on a dark blue ribbon with narrow 3 mm black stripes along the edges and white-red in the centre.

a/ The Cross is awarded for outstanding services rendered in the realisation of the objectives of the SPK and for work for the local SPK Circles.
b/ The Cross has two classes: silver and gold.
c/ The Cross may be awarded to ordinary Members who have previously been awarded the Gold Honorary Badge of the SPK. The Gold Cross may be awarded two years after receipt of the Silver Cross. In exceptional cases, the Chapter may waive the extended procedure.
§4. The Cross is awarded by the Chapter, which consists of: from the National Board in Australia: the incumbent President, 1st Vice-President and Secretary General; from the Circles in the State in which the National Board is located: the incumbent President and Secretary.
The Chairman of the Chapter is ex officio the incumbent President of the National Board, and the Secretary is the incumbent Secretary General.
§5. Resolutions of the Chapter on the awarding of the Cross are passed by a simple majority of votes, however the full approval of three Members of the National Board is required. The deliberations of the Chapter are confidential.
§6. Resolutions of the Chapter on the awarding of the Cross are in principle announced on the 1st of September each year.
The Cross is issued upon payment (reimbursement of costs). The diploma for the award of the Cross is signed by the President and the Secretary General of the National Board.
§7. The Chapter of the Combatant’s Cross awards the Cross upon application by the Board of a Circle, signed by the President and Secretary or, in exceptional cases, by the Vice-President, or by the National Board.
§8. The Chapter of the Cross may pass a resolution to deprive a person of the Combatant’s Cross of the SPK in Australia in the event that the person to whom it was awarded:
a/ being a Member of the SPK, has been expelled from the SPK in accordance with Article VII, paragraph 3 of the Statute;
b/ not being a Member of the SPK, acts to the detriment of the SPK or behaves contrary to the objectives which the SPK serves.
§9. Amendments to these Regulations require a resolution of the General Meeting of Delegates of the SPK Circles in Australia.
NOTE: Applications for the award of the Cross must be submitted according to the prepared template, including the course of military service and the date of award of the Gold Honorary Badge of the SPK. Applications must be fully justified and submitted to the National Board in two copies within the required timeframe.

Z okazji 44-tej rocznicy wybuchu 2-giej Wojny Światowej dla zewnętrznego wyrażenia uznania Członkom SPK oraz osobom, które w sposób wybitny przyczyniły się do realizacji celów Stowarzyszenia, na wniosek Zarządu Krajowego SPK, Walny Zjazd Delegatów Kół SPK w Australii ustanowił w dniach 2–4 stycznia 1981 roku odznaczenie organizacyjne pod nazwą „Krzyż Kombatancki” i które decyzją Walnego Zjazdu Delegatów Kół SPK, odbytego w dniach 2–4 stycznia 1983 roku zostało zatwierdzone.
§2. Krzyż Kombatancki, o rozmiarach normalnego odznaczenia typu wojskowego, ma w środku stylizowaną mapę Australii z inicjałami SPK. Na odwrotnej stronie Krzyża uwidoczniony jest napis: „Wiernym Sprawie” i data „1983”. Krzyż nosi się na wstążce koloru ciemno-niebieskiego, po brzegach której są wąskie, 3 mm, paski czarne, a w środku biało-czerwone.
§3.
a/ Krzyż nadaje się za wybitne zasługi położone dla realizacji celów SPK oraz pracy dla Kół terenowych SPK.
b/ Krzyż posiada dwie klasy: srebrną i złotą.
c/ Krzyż może być nadany Członkom zwyczajnym, odznaczonym uprzednio Złotą Odznaką Honorową SPK. Krzyż Złoty nadany być może w dwa lata po otrzymaniu Srebrnego. W nadzwyczajnych wypadkach Kapituła może pominąć powiększoną procedurę.
§4. Krzyż nadaje Kapituła, w której skład wchodzą: z Zarządu Krajowego w Australii: każdorazowy Prezes, 1-szy Wiceprezes i Sekretarz Generalny; z Kół na terenie Stanu, w którym mieści się Zarząd Krajowy, wchodzą: każdorazowy Prezes i Sekretarz. Przewodniczącym Kapituły jest z urzędu każdorazowy Prezes Zarządu Krajowego, a Sekretarzem każdorazowy Sekretarz Generalny.
§5. Uchwały Kapituły o nadaniu Krzyża zapadają zwykłą większością głosów, jednakże wymagana jest pełna aprobata trzech Członków Zarządu Krajowego. Obrady Kapituły są poufne.
§6. Uchwały Kapituły o nadaniu Krzyża ogłaszane są w zasadzie w dniu 1-szym września każdego roku.
Krzyż wydawany jest za opłatą (zwrotem kosztów). Dyplom nadania Krzyża podpisują: Prezes i Sekretarz Generalny Zarządu Krajowego.
§7. Kapituła Krzyża Kombatanckiego nadaje Krzyż na wniosek Zarządu Kół, podpisany przez Prezesa i Sekretarza lub wiceprezesa w nadzwyczajnym wypadku, albo Zarządu Krajowego.
§8. Kapituła Krzyża może powziąć uchwałę o pozbawieniu Krzyża Kombatanckiego SPK w Australii w wypadku, gdy osoba, której został on nadany:
a/ będąc Członkiem SPK została wykluczona z SPK w myśl Art. VII, par. 3 Statutu;
b/ nie będąc Członkiem SPK działa na szkodę SPK lub postępuje niezgodnie z celami, którym służy SPK.
§9. Zmiany niniejszego Regulaminu wymagają uchwały Zjazdu Delegatów Kół SPK w Australii.
